SYLWIA IŁENDA - OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPHER DURING EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP IN PRAGUE
Sylwia Iłenda was the official photographer during European Championship in Prague! We are glad that these beautiful moments will be presented in her photos.
The World Championship in Paris (29.11 - 01.12) ended with a great success of a Polish mare Eralda (Emerald J - Enezja / Marajj),from a private breeding (Falborek Arabians)owned by Al Shiraa Stables, which won the silver medal in the Junior Mares Category. She also won in her Class (2B) with the score of 92.57 points which consisted of eleven "20s": 5x20 for type, 5x20 for head and neck and 1x20 for movement. Let's not forget that this year Eralda has also left Menton with the silver medal after winning in her Class and won an additional special prize for the best head. The gold medal in the Junior Mares Category and first place in theClass (2A) was won by Algamra (J Portofino - Ava Maryia / Eden C) whichgot 92.36 points in the Class.
The show in Menton (22-23.06) brought the greatest success for the wonderful mare Eralda (Emerald J - Enezja / Marajj) bred by Falborek Arabians K. Goździalski stud, owned by Al Shiraa Stables (UAE). The mare once again showed her high level by getting a silver medal at the Junior Mare Championship.Earlier, she won the 3-year-old Mare Class with a score of 91.88 points, including as many as three "20" for head and neck. A high rating in this category translated into an additional special prize for the best head! Janów's Encarina also won her 2-year-old Mare Class. Judges awarded her with a high score of 92.50 points. Encarina delighted us with her movement, thanks to which she added three "20" to her collection.Good performance in the Class gave us hope for a medal in the Championship. However, in the Championship the fun starts from the very beginning because it has its laws and rules. Therefore, unfortunately, there was no place on the podium for the representative of the stud from Janów Podlaski.
This year Białka welcomed us with the sunny weather that accompanied us during the whole show. Admittedly, sometimes the temperature was a burden, but small clouds every once in a while allowed us to take a respite. The Horse Stud from Janów Podlaski shone the brightest in the sun, as they won four medals (three gold and one silver). They also got the title of the Best Horse of the Show, i.e. Best in Show! A total of 90 horses met in the ring (100 were entered), including 50 horses from private breeding. In the final, the breeders shared the medals in half: 6 medals were awarded to the private breeders and 6 to the state studs. The stud from Janów Podlaski won four medals and the studs from Białka and Michałów won one medal each.
On April 14, the prestigious Arabian Breeders World Cup ended in Las Vegas. However, before if finished the wonderful news about a gold medal won by a Polish mare took us by surprise. The title of the Senior Mares Champion was won by the gray Perfinka (Esparto - Perfirka / Gazal Al Shaqab), owned and maintained by the SK in Białka, currently leased by the Cedar Ridge Arabians stud (USA). Thus, the mare joined other gold medalists from Las Vegas: the Michałów’s Wieża Mocy which won the gold medal in 2014, Equator - the champion from 2016 and Janów's Pogrom which triumphed in 2013.
On Friday (12 April) Perfinka won in the Arabian World Cup Senior Breeding Mares category 116 with the final rating of 334.50 points. Her dangerous rival was Pitonisa AS (Ever After NA - Psyches Amber Dream / Padrons Psyche) owned by Albidayer Stud, which got 332.5 points and the second place in the class and a bronze medal in the final. The silver medal was awarded to Bessolina El Marwan (Marwan Al Shaqab - HB Bessolea / Besson Carol), owned by Al Shahania Stud, who won in class 118 with the score of 3350 points.
